Travel Coordinator at the Swedish Tax Agency

About the Job

As a travel coordinator, you will book travel, meetings, and conferences for employees at the Swedish Tax Agency, the Enforcement Authority, and the Payment Authority.

You will provide service and information to our employees traveling for work. Your work is independent and includes all tasks related to booking travel and arrangements. At times, the pace is high, and we also assist our colleagues in the procurement unit and user support in providing other internal services when possible. The position includes some on-call duties during evenings and weekends with a rotating schedule.

We work with a self-booking tool as well as phone, email, case management systems, and chat. We book trains, flights, hotels, and other products through Amadeus. We actively work with good environmental choices, compliance, and governance of our travel policies.

Together with a group of friendly colleagues, you will work across departments to continuously develop internal processes and services.

You will work in the travel service and belong to the procurement unit located in Sundsvall. The section consists of 9 employees, of which five primarily work with travel administration.

You should also have:

• a completed high school education with passing grades
• at least 5 years of current experience working at a business travel agency or similar
• at least 5 years of current experience working in Amadeus
• current experience in travel coordination for larger government agencies
• current and very good familiarity with handling government framework agreements, LinkonLine or Rail display, case management systems, or IATA certification

It is desirable that you have 3 years of current experience working in the Amadeus selling platform.

Good to Know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
